NEW - Employee Notifications Update Software

With immediate effect, KV is able to offer a new software module which will update HMRC generated notifications to an employees master files record.

This new module will allow the User to apply P6, P9, SL1 & SL2 notifications by reference to an Effective Date

Having previously downloaded notifications from HMRC the new software offers the opportunity to import these notifications into KVPAY. Once notifications have been imported then, via the Review Outstanding Notifications function, the User may then view the notifications in different ways.

Applying outstanding notifications could not be simpler. Choose the update function and supply an Effective Date. The system will present a list of all Payrolls which are in a position to be updated i.e. the Run Time parameter has been updated. The User may elect to apply updates for some of the listed Payrolls or all of the listed Payrolls.

Comprehensive controls ensure that any changes are applied correctly and for each notification that is applied a record of this change is written to the Audit Trail file.

Where an update cannot be applied i.e. employee has left the company this information is written to a spooled report and is available for vewing at the end of the update process.

As HMRC have introduced a new national Insurance and PAYE system which is resulting in many more people receiving coding notices this year this is new software module will prove invaluable in the application of these notices

The Tax Year End upgrade will be issued shortly and will contain changes to software to accommodate the presentation of UAP NI details to HMRC, changes to the calculation of Scottish Arrestment’s and many other features. In April we will also see the introduction of the new 50% Tax Band.
